Cutler Real Estate asked Benita a few questions so you can get to know her better, and here are Benita's replies.

1. What is your professional/educational background?

I have a degree in Healthcare Administration. I worked in the healthcare field first as an Office Manager and then as an Administrator for 12 years. I was the sole owner and operator of a Beauty supply store for 3 years. I loved every bit of owning my own business, which brings me to the next question. Why Real Estate?

2. Why did you choose a career in real estate?

I was looking for a lifetime career where I could work for myself and help others achieve their home buying or selling dreams. I remember when I bought my first home and how excited I was that I had achieved such a great milestone. At the time I had no clue as to how the process worked, but thanks to my Real Estate agent explaining step by step, she made everything make sense. My Realtor not only made the process easy but also exciting. With the knowledge I have now, I want to help others experience that same relaxing, exciting and reassurance I did.

3. What area do you live in currently and what do you like about where you live?

I have lived in Green, Ohio for the past 10 years. I guess the best thing I like about my neighborhood is how quiet it is. I have friendly neighbors and easy access to Canton and Akron. I am close to lots of shopping and restaurants, in which I really enjoy.

4. How do you spend your free time?

I like to go on long power walks and jogs. I like planting flowers and vegetables in my garden. I like to curl up with a good book when I have quiet moments to myself. And I found that baking brings me peace, but most of all I love spending time with family.

5. If you could only keep 5 possessions what would they be?

  1. Phone
  2. Car
  3. Home
  4. Money
  5. Photos

6. In one word, how do you think your friends/family would describe you?
